HHKB Launches 30th Anniversary SNS Campaign Calling for 'Relatable HHKB Moments'

Happy Hacking Keyboard (hereinafter referred to as HHKB) celebrates its 30th anniversary this year.

The 30 years that HHKB has been nurtured in the hands of many users is also an accumulation of the stories of each individual user.

To commemorate this milestone, we are holding an SNS campaign on X (formerly Twitter) where everyone can share their own 'My HHKB Story'.

The theme of the first phase is 'HHKB Relatable Moments', an episode of empathy born from daily favorite use.

While looking back on your time with HHKB, please post the 'moments that make you nod in agreement involuntarily' with the hashtags '#HHKB30周年' (#HHKB30thAnniversary) and '#HHKBあるあるキャンペーン' (#HHKBRelatableCampaign).

The person selected for the Grand Prize will be gifted an item of their choice sold at the PFU Direct flagship store, and the 5 people selected for the Excellence Award will receive an original HHKB neck strap.

Along with the launch of this campaign, we have also released an interview video of photographer Nagisa Ichikawa, who has been a long-time HHKB user.

Application Guidelines

**1) Application Period**

May 26, 2026 – June 26, 2026

**2) How to Apply** - Step 1: Follow the official HHKB X account @PFU_HHKB - Step 2: Post with '#HHKB30周年' and '#HHKBあるあるキャンペーン' (Post with hashtags)

Posting Examples) - 'When I use the non-printed keycaps, I feel like I've become a slightly more capable person. #HHKB30周年 #HHKBあるあるキャンペーン' - 'Even though I don't need to write anything, I start typing something because the keystroke feel is so good. #HHKB30周年 #HHKBあるあるキャンペーン'

* Posts with photos of your HHKB are also very welcome. * If you have your own blog article or related URL, we would appreciate it if you could post it together.

**3) Prizes** - Grand Prize (1 winner): 1 item of your choice sold at the PFU Direct flagship store (*Please choose from the products in the HHKB category) - Excellence Award (5 winners): HHKB original neck strap

**4) Eligibility** - Those who applied using the above application method on X during the application period are eligible. - Applications for this campaign are limited to those residing in Japan. - Employees of PFU Limited and its group companies can also apply for this project. However, prizes will not be handed over, so please let us know that you are an employee if you are selected. - Posts from private accounts will not be eligible for selection.

**5) About Winning** - After the application period ends, a vote will be held by internal expert members involved in the development and brand of HHKB based on the posted content, and 1 person whose post garners the most empathy will be selected for the Grand Prize. In addition, 5 people will be selected for the Excellence Award, taking into account the voting and the response on X (likes, reposts, degree of empathy, etc.). - The selection of posted results will be based solely on the posted content. - Winners will be contacted separately and asked to provide personal information necessary for sending the prize.
