Pixiv Inc. will host the 'pixiv High School Illustration Contest 2026' on its illustration, manga, and novel submission platform, 'pixiv,' starting June 19, 2026.

The 'pixiv High School Illustration Contest' was established in 2018 to create opportunities for next-generation creators to realize their potential.

The theme for the 9th annual contest is 'Passage.' The main visual is a newly created work by the user 'mi x3,' who won the grand prize in the previous 2025 contest.

Five popular creators—Ixy, Uraura Ura, Haruo, Magotsuki, and Mika Pikazo—will serve as judges, joined by 10 corporate sponsors.

In addition to the online summer workshops provided by the Kyoto University of the Arts, a new initiative this year will feature in-person summer workshops at six locations nationwide, supported by the Kokusai Sogo Gakuen and 21st Century Academeia.
