This registration is a certification by the Tokyo Metropolitan Government for companies in Tokyo that practice initiatives related to 'Herasu' (Reduce/Power Saving), 'Tsukuru' (Generate/Power Generation), and 'Tameru' (Store/Electricity Storage). It signifies that our series of activities toward decarbonization has been approved by the city.

What is HTT?

HTT is an acronym for three keywords in the energy policy promoted by the Tokyo Metropolitan Government, representing efforts toward realizing a decarbonized society, starting with power saving in Tokyo.

H ─ Herasu (Reduce/Save): Initiatives to reduce power consumption itself in daily work and life, such as switching to LED lighting, optimizing air conditioning, and promoting remote work.

T ─ Tsukuru (Generate): Initiatives to create a system that does not depend on external power purchases by generating electricity in-house using renewable energy, such as installing solar panels.

T ─ Tameru (Store): Initiatives to stabilize power supply and demand by efficiently storing generated power through the introduction of storage batteries and utilizing it during peak hours.

Background and Initiatives

In recent years, responding to climate change and stabilizing the power supply-demand balance have become urgent issues that companies should address as social responsibilities. As concerns about power shortages continue in Japan, the Tokyo Metropolitan Government is calling on companies to promote energy conservation, renewable energy, and energy storage under the keyword HTT.
