Yayoiken's 'Oita Toriten Set Meal' and 'Oita Toriten and Dango-jiru Set Meal' Recommended by Store Managers Nationwide

Plenus Co., Ltd. operates 376 Yayoiken set meal restaurants nationwide as of the end of March 2026. Yayoiken announced the launch of 'Oita Toriten Teishoku' and 'Oita Toriten to Dango-jiru no Teishoku' on April 7, 2026. A survey was conducted among Yayoiken store managers nationwide from April 6 to April 9, 2026, regarding the recommended points of these new menu items. The survey results showed 'Dango-jiru with abundant ingredients' as the top recommendation, followed by 'freshly fried crispy texture' for toriten, and 'flavor change with yuzu pepper.' The toriten is made from juicy chicken thigh, served freshly fried, and can be enjoyed with ponzu and nerikarashi. Dango-jiru is a local Oita dish made with Oita barley miso, containing flat dango, daikon, carrot, burdock root, onion, and pork. The 'Oita Toriten Teishoku' is priced at 960 yen, and the 'Oita Toriten to Dango-jiru no Teishoku' is 1,190 yen. Toriten is also available for takeout. Dango-jiru can be ordered separately for 470 yen, or as an upgrade from other set meals' miso soup for 370 yen.
