Plus Robo Inc., the operator of "Sketter," a regional mutual support platform for volunteer activities with rewards specializing in the care and welfare sector, has signed a partnership agreement with Sagamihara City in Kanagawa Prefecture. Collaborative projects will commence in October 2026. This marks the 30th municipal partnership for Sketter nationwide, and the 5th within Kanagawa Prefecture.
The initiative aims to address labor shortages in welfare facilities and expand the health promotion and social participation of the elderly, children with disabilities, and people with disabilities by connecting local residents with welfare facilities in the city.

●What is Sketter?
"Sketter" is a regional mutual support platform released in 2019 with the goal of building a Reiwa-era mutual support infrastructure where the community supports welfare. Its biggest feature is that even individuals without prior experience or qualifications can participate in welfare through their own abilities (excluding direct physical care).
Approximately 70% of registered users are inexperienced individuals who have never been involved in the care and welfare sector before. Many users have a welfare mindset of "wanting to help the community," and the platform continues to increase related individuals from all industries.
Diverse generations are involved, including students and young people aged 10-30, as well as active seniors in their 60s and 70s. It uncovers new potential interest groups who "were interested but lacked the opportunity or means to get involved." Partnerships with high schools and universities are also accelerating.
Starting in February 2026, JAL will partner with Sketter, offering miles to Sketter activity participants.
