Hino City, Tokyo, has launched a public consultation using the policy co-creation platform 'PoliPoli Gov' to gather resident feedback on the redevelopment of the former 'Hirayamadai Health and Citizen Support Center' site, which is scheduled for closure at the end of fiscal year 2028.
The initiative, known as the 'Okanoue Project,' aims to develop an effective utilization plan based on the five elements identified in fiscal year 2025. Residents are invited to freely post their ideas and opinions online and show support for others' contributions.
The consultation period runs from June 8, 2026, to June 30, 2026 (23:59). All feedback collected will be used as essential reference material in the formulation of the fiscal year 2026 policy guidelines.
'PoliPoli Gov,' provided by PoliPoli Inc., is a tool designed to facilitate policy co-creation between local governments and their residents, aiming to modernize public consultation processes.
