FY2026 'Excellent Skilled Worker Award' Presented to Shuichi Chiba of Polus Housing Cooperative

Shuichi Chiba, a carpenter belonging to the Polus Group's Polus Housing Cooperative (Headquarters: Soka City, Saitama Prefecture; Representative Director: Kojiro Nakauchi), has received the 'Excellent Skilled Worker Award' from the Japan Housing Industry Association. This marks the fourth consecutive year that a Polus Group employee has received this award. This award recognizes employees of member companies of the Japan Housing Industry Association and their subcontractors who have been directly engaged in construction site work for over 15 years, are 35 years of age or older, possess outstanding skills and techniques through accumulated construction experience, and contribute to the guidance and development of successors and the improvement of safety and hygiene, serving as a model for other construction workers. Among the carpenters in the Polus Housing Cooperative, he is one of the most skilled, holding a First-Class Architectural Carpenter certification and Level 4 Construction Career Up System status.
