Children's Book Series 'Kemocafe!' Celebrates Over 80,000 Copies Sold with Bookstore Fair! 5th Volume Set for June 10 Release!

Poplar Publishing Co., Ltd. is launching the 'Secret Tea Party Fair,' the first bookstore fair for the highly popular children's book series 'Kemocafe!', which has exceeded 80,000 copies in cumulative sales. Furthermore, the long-awaited 5th volume, 'Kemocafe! 5: Retrieve the Kidnapped Ai!', is set for release on June 10 (Thursday).

'Kemocafe!' is a series exploring 'love with beast-men,' written by *Aira*, the author behind the 'Socho-sama, Dekiai-chu ni Tsuki' series (over 900,000 copies sold) and the 'Utaite!' series (over 400,000 copies sold). The story follows the protagonist, Ai, as she runs a cafe with beast-men boys—a lion, a cat, a rabbit, a wolf, and a fox—while navigating growing feelings for them.

Since its inception, the series has become a sensation among elementary and middle school girls, with volumes 1 through 4 requiring immediate reprints upon release. Volume 4 saw sales double compared to volume 3 within just one month of launch, contributing to the total sales exceeding 80,000 copies.

For the bookstore fair, customers who purchase any of volumes 1 through 4 of 'Kemocafe!' will receive an original bookmark (6 types total). The illustrations were drawn specifically for this fair by the series' illustrator, Shiroko.

Volume 5, 'Kemocafe! 5: Retrieve the Kidnapped Ai!', releases on June 10. The synopsis follows Ai, who is kidnapped by Noah, the eldest son of the Nekomiya family, and the beast-men boys rushing to her rescue.

Additionally, the volume includes the results of the '1st Oshi-Chara Grand Prix' (held from December 24, 2025, to March 1, 2026) and a newly written short story featuring the character who placed first. An original sticker will also be distributed as a purchase benefit for volume 5.
