Born in Shizuoka Prefecture. After working as an illustrator for magazines and school publications, she entered the world of children's books. Her illustrated works include the 'Natsuka's Ghost Case Files' series (20 volumes, written by Hiroshi Saito / Akane Shobo) and the picture book 'Bunbuku Bukurin' (Child本社).

In 'Yume Kashiyana Momoya: 10 Days of Paradise,' the protagonist, Miyu-chan, envies the life of her classmate, Himena-chan. In today's era, aren't there many children like Miyu-chan?

With the spread of social media, the consumer society is escalating, and if you don't have what everyone else has, you unconsciously feel like it's something bad. You are constantly being told you are lacking.

There are many wonderful things in the world, but there are also just as many, or even more, useless things, and not all of them are necessary for you. Even if people say, "Everyone likes this, don't you want it too?", it's important to have your own yardstick to say, "I don't really need it."

We should not let society or others arbitrarily decide our meaning or value in life, nor be swayed by immediate desires. We should create what is important to us, our best future, and our reality. To that end, I want children to understand that the world is complex and to never stop thinking day by day. I want them to survive wisely and grow up safely. I wrote this book with the hope of providing them with a weapon in the form of entertainment to survive in these difficult times.
