Kanagawa Prefecture aims to realize regional safety and security through the practical implementation and popularization of service robots as part of the 'Sagami Robot Industry Zone' initiative.
We are now inviting facilities in the prefecture (excluding nursing care providers)—such as factories, warehouses, and commercial spaces—that wish to try out robots (free of charge), such as 'transport robots' or 'cleaning robots,' via the 'Robot Implementation Promotion Center.'
1. Overview of 'Trial Usage Support' (1) Recruitment Period: May 26, 2026 (Tue) to January 31, 2027 (Sun). *May end early if the budget is reached. (2) Eligible Facilities: Facilities in the prefecture utilizing service robots to solve operational challenges (e.g., factories, warehouses, stations, commercial spaces, etc., excluding nursing care). (3) Number of Facilities: Approximately 60 (max 2 trials per facility). (4) Selection: Selected after document review by the Robot Implementation Promotion Center.
2. Program Details and Support (1) Program Content: Selected facilities will collaborate with the Robot Implementation Promotion Center to identify challenges and select appropriate robots. After a 1-2 week trial period, facilities receive comprehensive hands-on support for operational planning and effectiveness verification. (2) Support Content: The Center provides hands-on support for implementation. Subsidies of up to 500,000 yen (including tax) per case are available for expenses related to trial support (rental, transport, setup, demonstration fees, etc.). Payments are made directly to the robot companies.
