The Prefectural Board of Education is conducting a business-proposal-style donation program through the Kanagawa Prefecture 'Manabiya Fund,' where prefectural schools and social education facilities develop their own plans—specifying development details, target amounts, and goals—based on their unique characteristics, and solicit donations for these plans.

We have now formulated a new business plan and kindly ask for your support through donations.

1. Details of the Business Plan Kawasaki Prefectural High School will celebrate its 100th anniversary in 2027 (Reiwa 9) since its inception as an old-system middle school. In preparation for this milestone, we are implementing the 'Green Roof Regeneration Project' to address the issue of difficulty in maintaining the current greenery, including parts of the school roof plantings that have withered.

This project will improve the building's thermal insulation, further reducing cooling and heating loads, contribute to sustainable urban development by mitigating global warming, and help improve the regional environment. Furthermore, it will be utilized as a place for education to cultivate students' environmental awareness and enrich environmental education.

We ask for your understanding and support through donations for the new challenges undertaken by Kawasaki High School.

2. How to Donate Donation methods are posted on the Manabiya Fund website. https://www.pref.kanagawa.jp/docs/en7/cnt/f6088/p1166208.html Alternatively, you can apply from each business plan's webpage. https://www.pref.kanagawa.jp/docs/en7/260101.html
