Kumamoto Prefecture (Governor: Takashi Kimura) is calling for pilot experiment proposals from May 13 (Wed) to June 23 (Tue) as part of the 'FY2026 UX Project Pilot Experiment Support Program.' This initiative aims to support pilot experiments conducted within the prefecture to solve social issues and improve the quality of life for residents. To support innovators from across the country, the prefecture, with the cooperation of UX membership members, has opened up 'Proof-of-Concept (PoC) Fields'—including facilities, equipment, event opportunities, monitor cooperation, and corporate technologies/networks—to create an environment where pilot experiments can be easily conducted. We look forward to many applications for experiments that leverage Kumamoto's strengths in life sciences, IT, data, mobility, and energy.
