Saitama Prefecture to Launch Support for Customer Harassment Prevention Measures for Businesses and Business Associations Ahead of the Enforcement of the "Saitama Prefecture Customer Harassment Prevention Ordinance"

Saitama Prefecture has enacted the "Saitama Prefecture Customer Harassment Prevention Ordinance," which will come into effect on July 1, Reiwa 8 (2026).

In conjunction with this, to support the efforts of businesses and business associations within the prefecture, we will launch the "Customer Harassment Prevention Measures Consultant Dispatch Project," which dispatches social insurance labor consultants and other experts free of charge, and also hold "Customer Harassment Measures WEB Seminars" that can be learned online.

Applications are required within the recruitment period for both. We look forward to many applications.

1. Customer Harassment Prevention Measures Consultant Dispatch Project (Free)

(1) Project Overview Experts will provide support to businesses and business associations working on customer harassment prevention measures before the ordinance comes into effect, either through visits or online, up to 3 times per entity. * The prefecture will decide which businesses, etc., to support based on industry, business scale, etc.

(2) Support Items (multiple selections possible) Creation of basic policies regarding customer harassment prevention Creation of customer harassment response manuals Establishment of consultation systems Implementation of in-house training (for employees, for managers) Other desired items related to customer harassment prevention measures
