Shizuoka Prefecture Begins Recruiting Venture Capitalists for Fund Support Project

Shizuoka Prefecture is implementing the 'Shizuoka Prefecture Fund Support Project' to provide subsidies to startups that have received investment from venture capital firms certified by the prefecture. The public recruitment of venture capitalists who will support startups alongside the prefecture will run from May 11 to June 10. Startups can also begin applying for preliminary consultations starting the same day. The maximum subsidy is 10 million yen for seed-stage startups and 40 million yen for the general category, with a total budget of 310 million yen.
