Inside the park, there are various 'cool spots' such as river and water play, and waterfall tours to blow away the heat. When it comes to outdoor summer play at Takino, it's 'River play & water play'!
In the spacious park, you can enjoy river and water play at four locations according to the children's way of playing, age, and purpose. For those who want to enjoy river play easily, 'Atsubetsu River' in the Stream Zone is recommended!
For those who want to enjoy water play along with looking for living creatures and enjoying nature, please extend your feet to 'Forest Classroom' or 'Sawa Plaza' in the Takino Forest Zone. 'Forest Babbling' in the Central Zone has shallow water depth, so even small children can play safely.

'Easy' river play!
'Atsubetsu River' in the Stream Zone is the largest river play area in the park!
Near the cold river, there is also a cooking area, so you can enjoy BBQ with your family and friends. In addition, in the Stream Zone, you can easily challenge outdoor experiences such as 'cycling' and 'fishing pond'!

Ashiribetsu Falls
In the Stream Zone, you can enjoy a tour of three waterfalls, including 'Ashiribetsu Falls', which is also selected as one of the top 100 waterfalls in Japan. Why not enjoy the refreshing season of Hokkaido by watching the water falling, listening to the sound, and even getting splashed with water?
Especially for the waterfall tour, cycling is recommended! We will be open every day during the summer vacation period for elementary schools in Sapporo. (Summer vacation period: July 25 ~ August 23)
