At the 'Terrace House Front Flower Field' in Hitachi Seaside Park, sunflowers have started to bloom. First flowering began on July 14, and as of July 15, several flowers have opened, with peak bloom expected around July 18.
The sunflowers at this flower field are expected to remain in full bloom with abundant flowers until around July 26.
Kochia plants are planted in front of the sunflowers, and walking along this garden path leads to 'Miharaishi Hill,' a scenic summer spot where kochia, zinnias, and the popular Welcome Garden come into full view—offering a true gateway to summer.

The approximately 800 sunflowers were planted with the intention of the horticulture team to allow visitors to enjoy the iconic sunflower-and-kochia scenery—previously seen only in the Miharaishi area—along the approach path at the Terrace House Front Flower Field.
The cultivated variety 'ES Idyllic' maintains its bloom for about 10 days after flowering.
Don't miss this opportunity to enjoy the stunning co-blooming of sunflowers and kochia.
