Karuizawa Prince Hotel East Launches Summer-Limited Afternoon Tea in First Collaboration with KARUIZAWA COFFEE COMPANY®

Karuizawa Prince Hotel East (Karuizawa-machi, Kitasaku-gun, Nagano; General Manager: Yuko Kageyama) will begin selling a summer-limited afternoon tea, 'Skillet & Savory Afternoon Tea SUMMER,' in collaboration with the local coffee brand 'KARUIZAWA COFFEE COMPANY®' (Karuizawa Coffee LLC; Representative Partner: Kazuyuki Itakura) starting Tuesday, June 9, 2026.

This afternoon tea combines freshly baked meat skillets with colorful savory items and sweets, making it a satisfying choice not only as an afternoon tea but also as a full meal. The meat skillets and savory dishes feature local ingredients such as Shinshu Fukumidori chicken and Shinshu pork, offering flavors that bring out the natural umami of the ingredients.

In addition, Karuizawa Prince Hotel is actively collaborating with the local community, promoting the region's charm alongside local businesses and producers. As part of this initiative, Mr. Itakura, representative of 'KARUIZAWA COFFEE COMPANY®,' tasted the afternoon tea menu and selected coffee that best complements each dish. By incorporating coffee jelly and drinks made with the selected house blend KARUIZAWA 'Mori' coffee beans into the menu, guests can enjoy a consistent coffee worldview.

Through co-creation with local companies, Karuizawa Prince Hotel will continue to create and broadcast new appeal and value for Karuizawa.
