Nagoya Prince Hotel Sky Tower Launches Limited-Time 'Minions & Monsters' Collaboration Dessert Menu for Summer Family Memories

Nagoya Prince Hotel Sky Tower (located at 4-60-12 Heiike-cho, Nakamura-ku, Nagoya City, Aichi Prefecture; General Manager: Toshikusa Yamamura) will launch a limited-time collaboration dessert menu titled 'Minion's Chocolate Banana Mont Blanc – Gru's Arrival!' from Friday, July 17, 2026, to Tuesday, September 8, 2026, in celebration of the nationwide theatrical release of the film 'Minions & Monsters' on Friday, August 7, 2026.

The film is the latest release from Illumination, the studio behind 'The Super Mario Bros. Movie' and the 'Despicable Me' series. In the movie, the Minions attempt to summon a monster by opening a magical book and chanting a mysterious incantation to create the 'greatest monster movie ever.' From a glowing green mist emerges 'Gru,' a tiny green monster even smaller than the Minions themselves.

As part of the collaboration, the hotel has created a Mont Blanc dessert plate inspired by Gru’s dramatic entrance. When the glass lid is lifted, smoke rises to reveal Gru, recreating a scene from the film where candles light up around the surprised Minions. The Mont Blanc generously features bananas—the Minions’ favorite food—layered with banana cake, fresh cream, and crisp chocolate, topped with ample banana-flavored Mont Blanc cream. Colorful fruits and crumble pieces resembling candles add a vibrant, exciting touch to this whimsical dessert.

This summer, create lasting memories by enjoying the Nagoya cityscape from 140 meters above ground, sharing a cinematic moment with family and friends.
