Cloud PBX 'INNOVERA' Expands Service Coverage to All 47 Prefectures Across Japan

Prodelight Co., Ltd. (Chuo-ku, Osaka: President & CEO Hidemitsu Konan, Securities Code: 5580, hereinafter 'Prodelight'), a company advancing digital transformation (DX) in telephony, announces that it will expand the service area for its cloud PBX 'INNOVERA' to all 47 prefectures across Japan by August 2026, enabling area codes to be used in a fully cloud-based environment.

In advance of the full service rollout, Prodelight has started accepting pre-launch consultations as of today.

Background and Future Outlook

In addition to its in-house developed cloud PBX 'INNOVERA,' Prodelight provides telephone lines and SIP terminals, offering a one-stop solution for business phone environments. This enables customers to smoothly adopt cloud PBX systems while benefiting from rapid response and centralized support.

Previously, due to limited availability of IP phone lines, businesses in certain areas needed to install on-site equipment such as VoIP gateways to use 'INNOVERA.' As a result, the ability to operate 'INNOVERA' entirely in the cloud (full cloud deployment) was limited to major urban areas such as Tokyo (03) and Osaka (06).

For companies using area codes in major cities, two-way number portability allowed seamless migration to 'INNOVERA' without changing their existing phone numbers, enabling full cloud operation. However, businesses using area codes outside the supported regions required on-site installation of dedicated equipment, necessitating a hybrid setup.

With this expansion, even businesses in previously unsupported areas will now be able to use 'INNOVERA' in a fully cloud-based environment without installing on-premise equipment.

Eliminating the need for on-site hardware is expected to reduce initial setup costs and lower the burden of maintenance and support. This creates a more flexible environment for businesses to adopt 'INNOVERA' while retaining their existing area codes.

Through this nationwide expansion, Prodelight aims to reduce regional disparities in deployment conditions and provide a more accessible phone environment for businesses across Japan.
