The fan community 'Project for Gulf in JP' of popular Thai actor Gulf Kanawut has donated food and other goods to 12 Ronald McDonald Houses nationwide, which are lodging facilities for children battling illness and their families.

On May 5, 2026 (Children's Day) at 1:00 PM, a donation ceremony for the donated goods was held at Ronald McDonald House Kobe House (1-6-7 Minamimachi, Port Island, Chuo-ku, Kobe City, Hyogo Prefecture), with the participation of the project's initiators and operating members. Currently, receipt reports have been posted on X (formerly Twitter) from all 12 recipient houses.

This project began with a call from a single fan who resonated with Thai actor Gulf Kanawut's philosophy of 'giving back the love received to society.' The selected items are not special support, but rather familiar goods that families staying at the houses can easily use in their daily lives, aiming to lighten their burden even slightly.

This support activity is strongly influenced by the activities of Gulf / Kanawut Traipipattanapong (nickname: Gulf), an actor and artist based in Thailand who enjoys high popularity in various countries around the world.

Born on December 4, 1997, in Bangkok, Thailand. Following his global breakthrough in a starring drama in 2019, he is now under contract with Thailand's major TV station Channel 3, starring in numerous dramas and films. In 2025, he will be the first Thai actor to star in a Japanese drama, 'Tokyo Holiday,' on TV Tokyo, making him very popular in Japan. Furthermore, he serves as an ambassador for GUCCI and Onitsuka Tiger, demonstrating his global influence.
