PTC Partners with TRD U.S.A. to Support High-Performance Engine Development

PTC announced that it has been named the official engine design software partner for TRD U.S.A. (Toyota Racing Development). PTC's 3D CAD software, Creo®, and product lifecycle management (PLM) solution, Windchill®, will support TRD in enhancing its engineering capabilities, improving efficiency, and reducing time-to-market. TRD, the high-performance division of Toyota and Lexus, designs motorsports engines for various racing competitions, including NASCAR, GR Cup, and off-road racing. From the engineering team in Costa Mesa, California, to trackside staff, TRD utilizes PTC's Creo CAD and Windchill PLM solutions to develop motorsports engines that have won across multiple generations, from initial design to race-ready production stages.
