New Campsites Born at Highland Campsite at 1,400m Elevation - Kyukamura Tsumagoi Kazawa Campsite Opens April 18th - "Deck Sites" for Rainy Days Newly Established, Seasonal Pricing Also Introduced

Permanent tent sites set up on elevated wooden decks. Enjoy a comfortable stay without worrying about water infiltration from the ground, even on rainy days.

Resort hotel "Kyukamura Tsumagoi Kazawa" (Location: 1312 Tashiro, Tsumagoi-mura, Agatsuma-gun, Gunma Prefecture; Manager: Tsuyoshi Sekiya), located in Tsumagoi Village, known as a production area for highland vegetables and a sacred place for loving husbands, will begin operating its campsite for the 2026 season from April 18th.

This season, 10 new "deck sites" have been established, allowing guests to camp on elevated wooden decks. Additionally, seasonal pricing has been introduced according to the period of use, revising the fee structure to be more accessible.

◆Camping at Tsumagoi Kazawa Campsite: Enjoy Camping in a Cool Highland at 1,400m Elevation

At the campsite's fishing pond, you can easily enjoy an outdoor experience surrounded by nature.

Kyukamura Tsumagoi Kazawa Campsite, surrounded by white birch and larch trees, is characterized by its cool environment where the average temperature does not reach 25℃ even in summer.

With few private homes or tourist facilities nearby, you can enjoy an extraordinary stay in a quiet environment surrounded by the murmuring of a stream. Experiences at the fishing pond and stargazing, unique to a location with few streetlights, are also among its attractions.

Hot spring bathing is also available at the hotel, about a 5-minute walk away, allowing even beginners to fully enjoy camping with peace of mind.
