Seven years after parting with Sho (Koki Wakui), who vanished into the sky.

Yuri (Haruka Fukuhara), now a high school teacher—Sho’s dream as well—leads a busy life, yet her feelings for Sho remain frozen in time on the hill where lilies bloom in 1945.

Before her appears Ryo (Kota Seta), a young man who bears a striking resemblance to Sho. He joins Yuri’s class as a temporary assistant teacher.

Torn between Ryo’s sincere affection and the fear of betraying Sho, Yuri struggles to take the next step in love.

Amid her inner conflict, Yuri meets an elderly Chiyo (Chieko Baisho), peacefully spending her final days in a hospice.

After losing Ishimaru (Kenta Ito), Chiyo (Natsuki Deguchi) walked a different path of love.
