Raccoon Commerce Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Chuo-ku, Tokyo; President and CEO: Gaku Wakui), which operates "Super Delivery," one of Japan's largest wholesale and procurement sites since 2002, plans to launch a new service called "SD Direct" in July 2026. This service will enable companies exhibiting on the site to consolidate orders from their existing business partners into a single web-based platform.

Background and Objectives Amidst a record high in bankruptcies due to labor shortages, labor saving and automation of operations have become critical management issues for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). A survey conducted by Super Delivery among its exhibiting domestic manufacturers revealed that orders are still predominantly received via fax, phone, and email. This reality forces them to engage in analog order reception and fulfillment tasks, such as manual data entry into their core systems and handling inquiries. A staggering 92% of respondent companies manage their orders through inefficient analog methods, which contribute to problems like incorrect shipments and delivery delays due to input errors.

Super Delivery is a wholesale and procurement site where domestic manufacturers trade with businesses such as retailers and service providers. It features approximately 2 million items, primarily in apparel and miscellaneous goods, but also including furniture, home appliances, and food products. It functions as a platform for new matching and transaction expansion between over 3,000 manufacturers and approximately 500,000 member businesses.

With this new initiative, Raccoon Commerce is expanding its business beyond new transactions via Super Delivery to encompass the order reception domain with existing business partners, which constitutes the majority of manufacturers' transactions. By opening up the order reception and payment infrastructure that Super Delivery possesses in the form of "SD Direct," the company aims to support the overall DX of manufacturers' wholesale operations.

What is the Order DX Service "SD Direct"? "SD Direct" is a service targeted at Super Delivery's exhibiting companies, allowing them to migrate their existing analog transactions to Super Delivery, thereby centralizing all order management.

【Service Features】 ① No Membership Screening Required, Transaction Start from the Same Day While regular Super Delivery usage requires screening of business partners, "SD Direct" eliminates this need. Exhibiting companies can issue accounts for their business partners, and once the partner sets a password, they can start using the service from the same day at the earliest.

② Transition to Web Ordering with Existing Transaction Terms "SD Direct" enables exhibiting companies to bill their business partners directly. This allows for a smooth transition to web ordering without changing existing billing methods, realizing the digitalization of order reception and fulfillment while maintaining current business practices. Business partners can also optionally choose payment methods such as Paid (post-payment service) or credit card.

③ 0 Yen Transaction and Payment Fees* There are no transaction or payment fees for orders received and placed through "SD Direct" (when self-billing is selected). This allows exhibiting companies to advance the DX of their existing transactions without incurring new cost burdens.

④ Improved Convenience Benefits Business Partners as Well Member businesses can place orders 24/7 from their PCs or smartphones. They can also check real-time inventory status, instantly view the latest product information, and manage their order history, leading to increased efficiency in their procurement operations. Pre-launch surveys indicated that the workload related to inquiries was a significant challenge for both manufacturers and business partners, and this service contributes to alleviating that burden.

Future Monetization and Outlook When business partners registered through "SD Direct" conduct transactions with other exhibiting companies, standard transaction fees will apply. Raccoon Commerce anticipates synergistic effects from customer acquisition and promotion of Paid usage.

"SD Direct" will initially launch with the provision of order reception and payment infrastructure, with plans to continuously expand its features to further support operational efficiency.

New matching accounts for only a small portion of the overall transactions in the Business-to-Business (B2B) market. Raccoon Commerce is expanding its focus to the continuous existing transaction market, aiming to support the sustainable growth of SMEs by providing infrastructure for the complete digitalization of wholesale operations.
