Rakuten Card Co., Ltd. (hereinafter "Rakuten Card") and Rakuten Payment Co., Ltd. (hereinafter "Rakuten Payment") have officially launched a new feature on July 2 (Thu) that allows users to charge their "Rakuten Pay Balance" (Note 2), which can be withdrawn, by using the cash advance service of "Rakuten Card" via the "Rakuten Pay" app.

Previously, users could charge "Rakuten Cash [Basic Type]" from "Rakuten Card." Now, it is possible to charge "Rakuten Cash [Premium Type]" as well. While "Rakuten Cash [Premium Type]" could be charged from eligible financial institution accounts nationwide, the addition of charging via "Rakuten Card" cash advance expands the options for charging sources.

Rakuten Card members can access the cash advance page of "Rakuten e-NAVI" from the "Rakuten Card Cash Advance" icon on the "Rakuten Pay Balance" charging screen within the "Rakuten Pay" app to complete the charge.

To commemorate the launch of this feature, campaigns are planned for the future.

Cash advances from "Rakuten Card" are available from 10,000 yen. With this new feature, users can select amounts in increments of 1,000 yen starting from 1,000 yen (Note 3) to charge "Rakuten Cash [Premium Type]." The charged "Rakuten Cash [Premium Type]" can be easily sent to family and friends free of charge using the sending function within the "Rakuten Pay" app, and it can also be withdrawn to a financial institution account under the user's name.

Rakuten Card and Rakuten Payment aim to further enhance their payment services and functions to support comfortable and enriched daily lives by responding to societal changes and the diverse needs of their customers.
