Approximately 70% of students reported a change in their job selection criteria. When asked if their priorities changed, 20.2% said "changed significantly" and 48.6% said "changed slightly," totaling 68.8%. Conversely, 26.6% said "hardly changed" and 4.6% said "did not change at all." This suggests that many students re-evaluate their criteria as they progress through the job search process, refining their judgment based on information gathering and interactions with companies.
Shift from "Work-Life Balance" to "Team Atmosphere" and "Job Content." Before starting the job hunt, the most prioritized factor was "work-life balance" (43.1%), followed by "salary" (33.9%), and "welfare/location" (30.3%). However, current priorities show "work-life balance" dropping to 33.9%, while "people and team atmosphere" rose from 17.4% to 30.3%, and "interest in job content" rose from 24.8% to 27.5%. Additionally, "environment to acquire professional skills" and "clarity of career path" also saw increases, indicating a shift toward more concrete judgment criteria.
"Knowing the reality of the company" is the top trigger. The most common reason for changing priorities was "learning the reality of the company through briefings or alumni visits" (45.3%), followed by "feeling the atmosphere during the selection process" (41.3%) and "experiencing the work through internships" (32.0%).
