Recruit Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo; President and CEO: Keiichi Ushida; hereinafter 'Recruit') announces that it has joined the 'Invoice Card Payment Association' and upgraded the operational framework of its business-oriented 'Invoice Advance Payment Service' to comply with the 'Invoice Card Payment Transaction Guidelines' established by the association.
Overview of the Initiative
Recruit's 'Invoice Advance Payment Service' enables businesses to pay invoices via credit card, expanding payment options and supporting flexible payment operations and cash flow management. Even if a trading partner does not accept credit card payments directly, this service can still be used.
In recent years, invoice card payment services have gained popularity as a tool to support corporate and individual entrepreneur cash flow. However, with market expansion, there is an increasing industry-wide demand for enhanced reliability, including fraud prevention and proper review and operational systems.
Recruit endorses the association's mission to strengthen industry trust and has joined accordingly. Alongside this, the company has updated its service operations to align with the association's guidelines, aiming to provide a more secure and trustworthy environment for business users. Additionally, Recruit is offering fee discount incentives for both new and existing customers to promote broader adoption of flexible payment methods.
About the 'Invoice Advance Payment Service'
The 'Invoice Advance Payment Service' allows businesses to settle invoices to trading partners using a credit card. When a business makes a payment via credit card, Recruit conducts a bank transfer to the trading partner on the business's behalf. This enables businesses to delay actual fund withdrawal until their card's payment date.
This service supports uninterrupted payments for procurement, advertising, salaries, and equipment costs—even before sales revenue is received—enabling smoother business continuity and growth.
Additionally, the service now features AI-OCR technology to reduce input burden during application. AI-OCR automatically analyzes invoices uploaded via camera or PDF, extracting and auto-filling transfer details such as financial institution name, branch name, account type, account number, account holder name, and recipient company name. Required documents can also be uploaded online, enabling a fully digital application and submission process.
※AI-OCR refers to technology that uses artificial intelligence to extract text information from images or PDFs and automatically input it into designated fields.
