'CONTROL Resonant', Sequel to 'CONTROL', to Launch Worldwide on September 24

Espoo, Finland, June 3, 2026 - Today, during the PlayStation digital showcase 'State of Play', Remedy Entertainment announced that 'CONTROL Resonant', the long-awaited sequel to the critically acclaimed and award-winning 'CONTROL', will launch worldwide on September 24, 2026.

Pre-orders for both digital and physical editions open today for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC (via Steam and Epic Games Store). The PlayStation 5 Digital Deluxe Edition includes 48-hour early access. The standard edition is priced at €59.99 / £49.99 / $59.99 / ¥7,990. 'CONTROL Resonant' will be published by Remedy Entertainment. Annapurna Pictures will co-finance and co-produce the game as part of a strategic partnership with Remedy.

Creative Director Mikael Kasurinen describes the game as exploring themes of identity, power, and sacrifice, as Dylan, a former subject of the Federal Bureau of Control (FBC), learns to master his evolving abilities and rediscover his humanity.

'CONTROL Resonant' is the largest game in Remedy's history, featuring exceptional gameplay and narrative depth. As Remedy is self-publishing the title, their global marketing approach is equally ambitious, with events planned for the Summer Game Fest and beyond.

The game will offer full localization (voice, interface, and subtitles) in English, Brazilian Portuguese, French, German, Italian, Japanese, Simplified Chinese, and Spanish (Spain). Additional support for interface and subtitles will be available for Korean, Polish, Russian, Spanish (Latin America), Traditional Chinese, Turkish, and Ukrainian.
