(Location: Aoba-ku, Yokohama, Kanagawa Prefecture, Representative Director: Masanori Nara) will be making a special appearance in a food truck format at the Suntory-hosted food event "Omouma Sakaba" Tokyo venue (Ariake Garden) for three days from Friday, April 10th to Sunday, April 12th, 2026. This restaurant, recognized in the "Tabelog Chinese Cuisine TOKYO Hyakumeiten 2026," will present a new culinary connection with its limited-edition menu item "Yodare Pork Shumai," specially created for this event, offered in an "izakaya style" that sets it apart from their usual course meals.

About Event Appearance

▪️Background "Lotus" is located in the basement of Nishiazabu, Tokyo. The chef, with a French culinary background, creates "innovative Chinese cuisine" that fuses the robust flavors of Chinese food with the meticulous techniques of French cuisine. The restaurant's name, "Lotus," embodies the spirit of creating dishes that are strong, beautiful, and possess a unique presence, as the saying goes, "The lotus emerges from the mud but is not stained by it." The decision to participate in Suntory's "Omouma Sakaba" stems from a desire to let more people experience the new enjoyment of "Chinese food x alcohol." The character "蓮 (Ren)" in the restaurant's name also means "to connect" or "to link." This signifies the connection between dishes and drinks, and the connection between the restaurant and its customers. While we usually focus on reservation-based course meals, we will leverage the mobility of a food truck to deliver dishes that complement "the perfect drink" in the vibrant atmosphere unique to events.

Yodare Pork Shumai Juicy shumai made with coarsely ground pork, packed with meaty texture. As soon as the lid is opened, the rising steam is accompanied by a generous pour of Lotus's special "Yodare Sauce."
