Renault Japan Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Yokohama, Kanagawa; President and CEO: Tsukasa Oki) announces the launch of the limited-edition Renault Kangoo Couleur and Renault Grand Kangoo Couleur, featuring a special body color 'Blue Dragée' inspired by 'dragée,' a traditional French confectionery symbolizing happiness. The vehicles will go on sale from Thursday, July 16, at authorized Renault dealers nationwide, limited to 150 units.

The Renault Kangoo Couleur is available with two powertrains: a gasoline engine (7-speed EDC) and a diesel engine (6-speed MT).

Sales of the limited-edition Renault Kangoo Couleur and Renault Grand Kangoo Couleur will be conducted via lottery. Purchase applications will be accepted from July 16 (Thursday) to July 26 (Sunday) at authorized Renault dealers nationwide. If the number of applications does not reach the planned sales volume, remaining units will be sold on a first-come, first-served basis.

Features of the Renault Grand Kangoo

Spacious Interior

The Renault Grand Kangoo is 420 mm longer (4,910 mm total length) and has a 390 mm longer wheelbase (3,100 mm) than the standard Kangoo, making it ideal for a 3-row, 7-seat configuration.

The extended wheelbase allowed for a redesigned sliding door with an opening width of 830 mm—180 mm wider than the standard Kangoo. This provides ample space for entering and exiting, even when the second-row seats are folded up. The longer wheelbase also improves ride stability and comfort.

Flexible, Independent 7-Seat Layout

The Renault Grand Kangoo Couleur features fully independent 3-row, 7-seater seating. The second and third-row seats slide 130 mm forward and backward, fold, flip up (double holding), and can be removed. Combined, these functions allow for up to 1,024 seating configurations (some configurations are not permitted during driving, and passenger positions may be restricted).
