The special 'Dr. Insect and the Beetle Expedition' program invites Professor Masafumi Nomura from Chiba University to teach children about insect ecology while they search for beetles and stag beetles in the forest over two days. This popular summer project, running since 2023, provides unique experiences hard to find in cities, making it perfect for summer independent research projects. Participants can bring their own bug cages to take home any insects they collect.
