REMILA BHC 2026 Hair Contest Announces Third Round Nominees; Grand Prix Ceremony on May 19 at Beautyworld Japan Tokyo

Resusty Co., Ltd., which develops the REMILA neck care beauty device for salons, announced the third round nominees for its REMILA BHC 2026 hair contest. This contest is recognized as the world's first to focus exclusively on "back styles." The third round, held from February 1 to March 31, 2026, received a record 89 entries, bringing the total submissions across three rounds to 220. Following a rigorous selection process, 24 works were nominated in the third round: 9 in the Creative category and 15 in the Reality category. The number of nominees in the Reality category doubled from the second round, reflecting a strong focus on real-world client concerns and treatment processes.

The annual Grand Prix winners for both the Creative and Reality categories will be announced at an awards ceremony on May 19, 2026, from 15:30 to 16:20. The ceremony will take place at the Tokyo Big Sight Conference Tower 1F Reception Hall, as part of Beautyworld Japan Tokyo. Attendance is free but requires prior registration, with seating for approximately 140 guests. A panel of seven top industry creators, including Takeru Kawabata and Hirotaka Teruya, will judge the entries based on creativity, technique, and storytelling. The Grand Prix winners in each category will receive a prize of 3 million yen, with 300,000 yen for second place and 100,000 yen for third place.

During the Beautyworld Japan Tokyo event, Resusty Co., Ltd. will also operate a REMILA booth (South Hall S2, Booth H026) from May 18 to May 20, 2026 (10:00-18:00, until 16:30 on the final day). The booth will feature demonstrations and experiences of the professional light beauty device "REMILA" and introduce "neck care" as a new service for salons.
