The Recording Industry Association of Japan (hereinafter "the Association") has appointed Shinji Hayashi, current Vice President (Representative Director and CFO of Avex Inc.), as its new President during the 588th Board of Directors meeting held on June 26. His term will run from June 26, 2026, until the conclusion of the Ordinary General Meeting in 2028.
Mr. Hayashi has served as a director of the Association for approximately 14 years, holding key positions including Vice President and Chairman of the Budget Committee.
Former President Shunsuke Muramatsu has stepped down upon completion of his term.
