Ricoh Japan Co., Ltd. (President and CEO: Toru Kasai) will begin offering the "RICOH Cybersecurity Pack IT Asset Management Service LANSCOPE for RICOH" (hereinafter referred to as "this service") from July 10, 2026. This service aims to strengthen compliance with the "Security Measures Evaluation System for Supply Chain Enhancement" (hereinafter referred to as the "SCS Evaluation System"), which is scheduled to commence operations at the end of fiscal year 2026. By combining Ricoh Japan's expertise cultivated through customer interactions with the "LANSCOPE Endpoint Manager Cloud Edition" developed and provided by MOTEX Inc. (hereinafter referred to as "MOTEX"), this service reduces the burden of initial setup associated with implementing IT asset management services, enabling a smooth rollout.

The scope and volume of IT assets managed by companies, including devices such as PCs and smartphones, and installed applications, are expanding daily.

Many security evaluations, certifications, and audits, including the SCS Evaluation System, require the identification and proper management of IT assets. However, many companies still manage their IT assets using analog ledgers, and for these companies, updating the ledger is a task for the person in charge each time equipment is replaced.

To improve operational efficiency, transitioning to an IT asset management service is an option. However, many services assume prior design (e.g., the scope of devices to be monitored, conditions for acquiring operation logs, rules for controlling terminals), and companies lacking security personnel have expressed that the barrier to entry is high.

This service is an IT asset management service based on MOTEX's IT asset management and MDM solution, "LANSCOPE Endpoint Manager Cloud Edition," to which Ricoh Japan adds initial policy setup, support for installing management applications on terminals, and help desk services.

It automatically acquires managed devices, the applications installed on each, and operation logs, visualizing them comprehensively in reports. In addition to reducing the effort of manual information updates, the acquired data can be widely utilized for purposes such as reducing unnecessary licenses and understanding the actual status of work situations.

Leveraging Ricoh Japan's expertise cultivated through customer interactions, we provide the service with a recommended policy that can be used universally already applied, thereby reducing the burden of initial design when implementing an IT asset management service.

Ricoh Japan provides security measures from implementation to operation, one-stop, from both technical aspects (networks, endpoints, cloud environments, physical environments, etc.) and organizational responses (visualizing issues, establishing policies, considering operational structures, etc.).

Moving forward, we will continue to support our customers' ongoing improvement of security measures by combining a rich lineup of multi-vendor products with the expertise gained through supporting our customer base of approximately 1 million business locations nationwide and through internal practices.
