A New Frontier: Ghost Stories × ROCK — Ghost Storyteller Ami Lyrics & Production MikaL “Ghost Story ROCK – Someone’s There -”

MikaL, a solo artist active in Japan and Korea and former member of the K-POP boy group DGNA (Daikoku Danji), is set to release his new song "Ghost Story ROCK – Someone’s There -" on April 11, 2026 (Saturday) via M-card. The lyrics and production are by ghost storyteller Ami.

The song was first unveiled as the theme song for Ami's play "Asakusa Ghost Story Mansion," which premiered in February 2026, and quickly became a talking point among audiences for being "catchy" and "addictive." Its long-awaited release is now confirmed.

MikaL, known for his deep love of ghost stories, has been intimately involved in the world of ghost stories, including hosting ghost story events with Ami not only in Japan but also in Korea.

In this work, Ami's unique "Kotodama" (spirit of words) intertwines with MikaL's emotional and powerful vocals, giving birth to a new expression: "Ghost Story × ROCK," a never-before-seen fusion.

Furthermore, the music video features a dance performance by MikaL, his first since his DGNA days. With catchy choreography that makes you want to imitate it and an addictive melody, the work is designed to leave a lasting impression both visually and audibly.

On the release day, April 11th (Saturday), a special release event will be held at Asakusa Hana Theater. And on the following day, April 12th (Sunday), a SPECIAL LIVE to commemorate the release has also been decided. These two days will be an “Asakusa Special,” featuring special bonus events for purchasers. This will be a precious opportunity to enjoy a unique experience that can only be had here over the two days.

The release event will include a free mini-live performance, as well as a bonus event for M-card purchasers.
