Saga TV's 'Kachikachi LIVE' Launches Special Heatstroke Prevention Week Starting June 22

Saga Television (affiliated with Fuji TV) joined the SDG’s Media Compact in July 2021, actively promoting local initiatives for a sustainable future.

As part of this effort, the station will launch a special week-long feature titled 'Heatstroke Prevention WEEK' on its in-house information program 'Kachikachi LIVE' (aired weekdays), from Monday, June 22 to Friday, June 26, 2026.

In 2025, Saga Prefecture recorded 38 extremely hot days (above 35°C) between June and August. This year has already seen the highest number of summer days (above 25°C) in May on record, highlighting the growing urgency of heatstroke prevention.

To help viewers stay healthy and active this summer, 'Kachikachi LIVE' will showcase practical heatstroke prevention methods that can be implemented at home, as well as initiatives already in place at local businesses and shops.

Throughout the week, Saga TV will run a daily campaign giving away its character-branded 'Mirambakun Water Bottle'.
