Voting Starts for '2026 Sanrio Character Ranking'

Sanrio Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Shinagawa-ku, Tokyo; President: Tomokuni Tsuji, hereinafter Sanrio) has launched the "2026 Sanrio Character Ranking," its popular character popularity poll event, starting today, Thursday, April 9, 2026. The theme for this year is "Cheer for everyone who's doing their best! Smiling Ovation!". A total of 90 characters are entered, and the voting method has been simplified to make it easier than ever.

On the voting website, participants can send cheers to Sanrio characters by playing two "Cheer Challenge Games": "Peeking☆Character Hide-and-Seek" and "Deliver☆Cheer Shoot," which are based on this year's theme. Additionally, a quiz project called "Buddy Character Quiz" allows users to guess and win prizes by selecting the "Buddy Characters" that have collaborated with Sanrio characters in companies, organizations, products, and services.
