Sanrio Co., Ltd. (Head Office: Shinagawa, Tokyo; President: Tomokuni Tsuji; hereafter 'Sanrio') is hosting 'Sanrio Fes 2026 in Minato Mirai,' transforming the area around Minato Mirai Station with Sanrio characters. Beginning May 23, 2026, special wrapped trains will run on the Minato Mirai Line. Starting June 12, the initiative expands to include ticket gates with Sanrio character voices, a massive 5-meter Pom Pom Purin balloon, mall decorations, pop-up stores, collaboration merchandise, and stamp rallies, immersing visitors in the Sanrio world from the moment they arrive.

The Grand Finale at Pacifico Yokohama

For the grand finale on June 27 and 28, 2026, Pacifico Yokohama will serve as the main venue. It will host the largest stage show yet, featuring approximately 30 characters, alongside the results announcement for the '2026 Sanrio Character Ranking.' Designed as 'Sanrio Fes 2026 City,' the venue will feature immersive decorations. Highlights include the world's fastest trial play of 'Sanrio Party Land' (a party game for Nintendo Switch/Switch 2), the first title from Sanrio's new game brand 'Sanrio Games,' as well as exclusive merchandise and food stalls. A 'Sanrio Kids Festival' will be held simultaneously in the Kids Venue for children of elementary school age and under.
