7th Charity Pair Match to Be Held in Niigata

Sato Foods Co., Ltd. will host the 7th 'Sato Foods Invitational Charity Golf Pair Match 2026 in Shion Golf Club' on Saturday, August 8, 2026.

The company has hosted this tournament six times previously, donating proceeds collected through sports to disaster relief, social welfare, and regional revitalization efforts. This year, we will continue these initiatives, delivering the excitement and emotion of golf to a wider audience through high-level performances by male and female professional golfers, while contributing to society through the power of sports.

This tournament is a rare professional golf event in the Shimokoshi region of Niigata Prefecture that welcomes spectators. We encourage you to visit the venue and enjoy the thrilling performances of top professionals up close.

Tournament Format

A total of 24 players (12 male-female pairs, tentative) will compete across 18 holes. The front nine holes will be played in four-ball format (each player plays their own ball, and the better score is selected), while the back nine will be played in foursomes (alternate shot with one ball). This format allows maximum enjoyment of the high skill levels of both male and female players by changing the play style at the halfway point.
