Hokkaido Esashi Town, Hokuyo Bank, and Stellar Green Sign Partnership Agreement for Realizing a Sustainable Society through Carbon Neutrality

Stellar Green Inc. (Headquarters: Chuo-ku, Tokyo; President & CEO: Akira NAKAMURA), which develops businesses supporting the creation of forest carbon credits, and its partner Hokuyo Bank (Head Office: Sapporo, Hokkaido; Director & President: Hirotsune TSUYAMA) signed a partnership agreement on Thursday, March 26, 2026, with Esashi Town, Hokkaido (Mayor: Murakamo MORITSUGU), aiming to achieve carbon neutrality and promote sustainable town development by utilizing environmental value.

Through this partnership agreement, the three parties aim to achieve carbon neutrality in Esashi Town through sustainable forest conservation activities. Furthermore, they will work on creating a mechanism to circulate revenue generated from environmental value back into the local economy and forest conservation.

Specific initiatives include the creation and sale of forest carbon credits, and information dissemination to those inside and outside the town, promoted through the collaboration of the three parties.
