2. Barcode Payment Overview

Service Outline

This service allows SBJ Travel K Debit cardholders to make payments by presenting a barcode displayed on the SBJ Bank mobile app to merchants.

Eligible Customers

Individual customers who hold an SBJ Travel K Debit Card.

* Card activation is required for use.

How to Use

① After logging into the app, select "K Debit > K Debit Barcode Payment".

② Present the barcode to the merchant for payment.

* Additional authentication may be required depending on the login method.

Where to Use

- Shinhan Card affiliated merchants that support barcode payments

(Not available for use in Japan)

Important Notes

- Barcode payment may not be available at some affiliated merchants.

- To cancel a barcode payment, you must present the barcode used for the original transaction. For cancellations, please present the barcode of the transaction in question from the K Debit transaction history screen within the SBJ Bank mobile app to the merchant.

- When using both the card and barcode payment, the shopping spending limit will be combined.
