Ahead of the spawning season for loggerhead sea turtles—a designated natural monument of Miyazaki Prefecture—the cleanup of Hitotsuba Beach is intended to protect their nesting grounds. A total of 109 people, including members of the public and staff from Phoenix Seagaia Resort, including new employees, are scheduled to participate.
