SEED (Headquarters: Bunkyo Ward, Tokyo; President: Takao Sato), a manufacturer and seller of contact lenses, partnered with Motomachi Wellness Park (Bunkyo Ward, Juntendo Educational Corporation, et al.) to host an event titled 'Myopia and Sports: Learn, Move, and Know Your Eyes' on June 6, 2026.
This event combined 'eye health' and 'sports experience' to look toward children's futures, attended by 38 people from 19 families living, working, or studying in Bunkyo Ward.
[Background] Since 2023, SEED has been conducting onsite classes at educational institutions, providing awareness activities to over 8,000 children. In January 2026, the company launched the 'SEED Child Eye Future Project,' creating a team of parents, ophthalmologists, experts, and the company to monitor and foster the future of each child. This event was planned as the first in-person initiative of the project, coinciding with Children's Eye Day on June 10.
[Event Overview] - Date: June 6, 2026 (Sat), 13:30–16:00 - Venue: Motomachi Wellness Park (1-1-19 Hongo, Bunkyo Ward, Tokyo) - Organizer: SEED - Co-organizer: Motomachi Wellness Park - Supporter: Yakult Levins Toda

Players from the Yakult Levins Toda rugby team also discussed the importance of wearing contact lenses while playing sports, giving children a chance to experience the significance of good vision through rugby.
