Toshimaen Niwa-no-yu Announces 'Connect Finland: Midsummer Festival 2026 – SAUNA IN THE RAIN'

Toshimaen Niwa-no-yu, a bathing and natural hot spring facility in Nerima, Tokyo, operated by Seibu Recreation, will host 'Connect Finland: Midsummer Festival 2026 – SAUNA IN THE RAIN' from Wednesday, June 17, to Sunday, July 19, 2026. The event is themed around the Finnish Midsummer Festival and the Finnish spirit of 'SISU' (resilience).

During the event, visitors can enjoy a 'well-being' time surrounded by greenery in the heart of the city through in-house decorations, limited menus, retail sales, workshops, and talk events.

Toshimaen Niwa-no-yu has contributed to the cultivation of sauna culture, providing experiences that go beyond 'physical healing' to 'mental healing.' This event focuses on the 'Midsummer Festival,' a tradition rooted in Finland, and 'SISU,' the spirit of moving forward despite difficulties. Through sauna, food, cultural experiences, and space design, the facility provides an opportunity to experience the mindset of people in Finland, the world's happiest country.

Additionally, a talk event titled 'Learning Career Strategies from SISU' will be held. On Saturday, June 27, at 15:00, Yasuaki Imai and Noora Sirola will discuss career strategies and well-being inspired by the Finnish spirit.
