2. Location: Takahashi Community Center (Nihongo Hiroba Takahashi Classroom)
KEY FIGURES
2-1-1 Higashiyama-cho, Toyota City, Aichi Prefecture
3. Participants: Foreign residents, volunteers from Japanese language classes
4. Objective:
Aichi Prefecture is home to many foreign residents who face challenges such as difficulty communicating in Japanese at hospitals and pharmacies, uncertainty about how to take medication, and difficulty accessing health-related information.
This workshop aims to help foreign residents think about health and medicine issues by sharing their own experiences and thoughts through dialogue using blocks.
5. Strengths of the "Health and Medicine" Workshop:
The workshop's strength lies in its ability to "visualize" health and medicine-related themes using blocks. Using blocks makes it easier for participants to engage, even if they are not proficient in Japanese, and allows them to share their experiences and thoughts in a tangible form. Furthermore, dialogue among participants about health and daily life fosters new insights and connections.
