SE plus Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director: Hitoshi Murata; hereinafter "our company"), an IT human resource education company, held a "Video Generation AI Workshop" utilizing generative AI for the player-employees of "Nankatsu SC" (Operation: Nankatsu SC Co., Ltd.; Headquarters: Katsushika-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director: Yoichi Takahashi), for whom we serve as an official partner.

Through this workshop, three Nankatsu SC player-employees learned how to use video generation AI and other skills, and planned and produced promotional videos for their home games (all matches from the 60th Kanto Soccer League Division 1, Matchday 11 onwards) themselves. The completed promotional videos and a video documenting the production process will be released on the official Nankatsu SC X account and the official SE plus YouTube channel, respectively, starting at 5:00 PM on July 6, 2026 (Mon).

Background of this Project's Launch

(1) Creating Opportunities to Acquire Generative AI Utilization Skills that are Rapidly Spreading

Recently, the evolution of generative AI, such as ChatGPT, has been remarkable, and its application is rapidly expanding not only to improve operational efficiency in business but also into creative fields like video and art. Video production, which traditionally required advanced specialized skills, is now changing into an era where "anyone can create high-quality videos without special skills, as long as they have an idea." As the development of generative AI human resources becomes an urgent task in all industries, acquiring generative AI utilization skills holds significant meaning for athletes' second careers and business skill improvement in the sports world.

(2) Nankatsu SC's Challenge to Maintain "Connection" with Fans and the Community

Nankatsu SC is engaged in fierce competition with the goal of joining the J.League. However, their home ground, "Okudo General Sports Center Athletics Stadium," is currently undergoing renovation, making it difficult to hold home games in their usual format. With limited opportunities to directly share passion with fans and local residents at the stadium, "how to increase exposure and strengthen engagement with fans" has become a major challenge for the team.

Therefore, SE plus, which has been providing IT education support as an official partner, and Nankatsu SC launched this project with the aim of "delivering videos created by the players themselves using generative AI, accessible anytime and anywhere by many people, to the fans."

Workshop (Training) Content

The training was conducted in a two-day intensive workshop format, with Mr. Kohei Hayashi, who works as a web/graphic designer, and Mr. Naoya Nomura, who develops AI tools, serving as instructors.

Three Nankatsu SC players participated: Kota Nakamura, Itsuki Okajima, and Masaya Kato.

Day 1: Practice "Trying Out" Video Generation AI Tools

The first day aimed to understand the characteristics of video generation AI, and participants created videos freely without any restrictions to soccer. First, to decide on the video's structure, they verbalized "protagonist settings," "situation," "what they are doing," and "how it ends." At that time, Instructor Hayashi advised, "Precisely defining information is the key to having AI reproduce your image." After deciding on the structure, they used the video generation AI tool "DeeVid AI" to input scripts themselves and produce videos. The players were surprised by how the completed videos matched their mental images and by unexpected results, and they exclaimed in admiration at the accuracy of the cutting-edge generative AI.

Day 2: Promotional Video Production

On the second day, the three players each produced one vertical video, and the plan was to combine them into one official PV. However, creating prompts (instruction text) to achieve the desired footage was highly difficult. Therefore, they introduced "Doga Sakusei-kun 3," a dedicated prompt support tool for video generation AI developed by Instructor Nomura using ChatGPT, to aim for higher accuracy in video production. While facing challenges unique to generative AI, such as the characteristic of producing completely different videos even with the same prompt (AI's variability) and the inability to pinpoint and modify only a part of the video, the players repeatedly tried different nuances in their prompts through trial and error. After two days of intense workshops, the three players each completed unique videos, and the training concluded successfully (※ The merging and finishing of each video will be carried out by the instructors at a later date).

Player Kato, with the theme of "a comeback story from injury," devised a symbolic scene of breaking chains wrapped around his right knee and scoring a goal. He showed perseverance by repeatedly adjusting the prompts to accurately instruct the AI on the position and manner of the chains breaking.

Participant Player Comments

Kota Nakamura (Player)

"On the first day, I tried creating videos by inputting prompts in my own words, but I wasn't very satisfied. However, on the second day, by using 'Doga Sakusei-kun 3' to have my words translated into English and then inputting them, I was able to create a video I was satisfied with, and I thought AI was great!"

Itsuki Okajima (Player)

"I understood the amazing power of AI, but I found it difficult because it wouldn't turn out as I intended unless I gave detailed instructions."

Masaya Kato (Player)

"Sometimes the AI understood the words I entered, but often the video was different from what I imagined. But I thought AI was interesting, including those aspects."

SE plus Comment

Yusuke Yamada, Manager, e&TS Division (Head of IT Education Business)

This time, as an official partner, we had the Nankatsu SC players challenge themselves to create promotional videos using generative AI. They experienced the entire creative process, from story composition to actual video generation, not just operating the tools. Furthermore, as an IT education company, we conveyed not only the convenience of AI but also its risks and literacy in its use. Through repeated trial and error, the players created wonderful works unique to them. Especially given the difficult situation of their home ground renovation, we hope this video reaches as many supporters as possible and serves as an opportunity for them to come to the stadium and cheer for the players in person.
