ServerWorks Selected for Government Cloud AWS Environment Template Development Project (FY2026)

ServerWorks Co., Ltd. (headquartered in Shinjuku-ku, Tokyo; President and CEO: Ryo Oishi; hereinafter 'ServerWorks'), an AWS Premier Tier Services Partner of Amazon Web Services (hereinafter 'AWS'), announces its selection for the national 'Development of AWS Cloud Environment Deletion Function and Templates for Government Cloud (FY2026)' project.

Background and Objectives of the Project

The Japanese government is promoting the migration of systems used by local governments and public agencies to the 'Government Cloud'. When building systems on the Government Cloud, organizations must meet standardized requirements regarding security and operations.

This project aims to define AWS environment configurations that comply with these requirements and develop deployment templates to streamline implementation. The templates will be developed using AWS Cloud Development Kit (AWS CDK) and distributed to agencies via GCAS or AWS Service Catalog as AWS CDK templates.

By utilizing these templates, agencies can significantly reduce the initial burden of setting up compliant environments and accelerate their system development and migration efforts.
