New Meerkat and Ring-tailed Lemur Babies Born at 'Anitouch Aqua City Odaiba'!

Anitouch Aqua City Odaiba, an indoor petting zoo operated by Izu Shaboten Zoo, welcomed two meerkat babies (one male and one female) on Friday, April 10, 2026.

The babies are currently living with their mother in the meerkat room, but the facility plans to gradually introduce them to the 'Capybara and Ring-tailed Lemur Room' as they grow.

Furthermore, on Monday, April 27, 2026, a ring-tailed lemur baby was born to mother 'Ayase' and father 'Ken.' The baby is growing steadily, and in the 'Capybara and Ring-tailed Lemur Room,' visitors can enjoy the heartwarming sight of the infant clinging tightly to its mother's back or stomach.

While the babies are growing every day, they still need to spend time with their mothers, so we ask visitors to watch over them quietly.
