To celebrate the July 31, 2026 release of 'Crayon Shinchan the Movie: Mysterious Monsters! My Yokai Vacation,' a special summer event will be held at Izu Granpal Park from July 18 to August 30. The event features a stamp rally with the Nohara family, character greetings with Shinchan, and a retrospective movie panel exhibition, offering fun for the whole family.

Event to be held at Izu Granpal Park

This event commemorates the theatrical release of 'Crayon Shinchan the Movie: Mysterious Monsters! My Yokai Vacation' on Friday, July 31, 2026. Visitors can enjoy a stamp rally collecting stamps of the Nohara family characters from the film. Additionally, completing the stamp rally and entering the prize campaign gives participants a chance to win exclusive 'Crayon Shinchan the Movie' merchandise.

Furthermore, a free rest area called the 'Cool Room' will host a retrospective panel exhibition of all past 'Crayon Shinchan the Movie' releases. Since the first film debuted in 1993, this exhibition gathers all movie posters, creating a special space where children and parents alike can relax and enjoy nostalgic moments together.

On August 8 (Sat) and 9 (Sun), the main character 'Shinchan' is scheduled to make a special appearance for greetings, handshakes, and commemorative photo opportunities.

'Crayon Shinchan the Movie: Mysterious Monsters! My Yokai Vacation' – Coming to theaters on Friday, July 31, 2026, during summer vacation

[STORY]

One summer day, strange supernatural phenomena were being reported across Japan, capturing public attention. Amidst this, the Nohara family sets off on a trip to visit Hiroshi's hometown in Akita Prefecture.

As they prepare for their journey, a mysterious shadow secretly watches Shin-chan happily pretending to be a yōkai from the shadows of the garden...

Looking forward to their long-awaited homecoming and the local fireworks festival, the Nohara family enjoys a peaceful time at Grandpa Ginnojo's house.

However, the morning after their arrival in Akita, an inexplicable incident occurs!

Flyers for the 'Obakēshon Village' are scattered all over the room where Shin-chan and the others stayed.

Excited by the flyer's bold text promising 'All-you-can-eat Chocobi!', Shin-chan pleads with the family to visit Obakēshon Village, and they all agree to go.

As they travel through Akita's changing landscape, venturing deeper into remote mountainous areas, they suddenly find themselves lost in a strange, otherworldly space...

They have arrived at the forbidden entrance to the 'Land of Yokai,' a realm where humans are not allowed!
