Charon Co., Ltd. (hereinafter "Charon") and Tectura Japan Co., Ltd. (hereinafter "Tectura Japan") have announced a partnership to collaborate on the implementation and development business for Microsoft's cloud ERP, "Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central" (hereinafter "Business Central").
Background and Purpose While Business Central is being adopted as a global standard ERP both domestically and internationally, effective implementation design, peripheral system integration, and operational support that address corporate scale, operational requirements, and country/region-specific customs are crucial. By bringing together their respective strengths, the two companies aim to broaden implementation options and accelerate the realization of value and project success for clients.
Overview of Collaboration The scope of this collaboration broadly covers Business Central implementation support, requirement definition, design/development, migration, testing, operational maintenance, and post-implementation support. Depending on project scale and requirements, the companies will build optimal teams and employ flexible collaboration policies such as joint proposals, mutual support, and division of roles. This realizes high value-added services, balancing capabilities for mid-to-large scale projects including overseas operations with rapid implementation and low-code utilization for domestic small-to-mid scale projects.
Roles and Strengths - Tectura Japan: Strong in overseas projects, mid-to-large scale implementations, and customization. Tectura Japan has extensive experience in driving mid-to-large scale projects involving multiple locations and complex requirements, leveraging its global network and bilingual consultants. They also excel in customization development and Japanese localization of Business Central, supporting smooth domestic deployment. - Charon: Strong in domestic projects, small-to-mid scale implementations, local Japanese business customs, and Power Platform utilization. Charon has extensive experience in rapid launch and implementation of small-to-mid scale domestic projects. By utilizing the Power Platform, they flexibly supplement operational requirements through low-code while maintaining standard functionality, enabling short-term implementation and continuous improvement. Furthermore, they provide the "CBEX series" to support local requirements such as closing invoices, payments, payment reconciliation, taxation, and depreciation calculation.
Expected Effects This collaboration is expected to bring the following benefits: - Optimization of implementation periods, costs, and quality through optimal team structures based on project scale. - Promotion of domestic adoption through the combination of Tectura's high-quality Japanese localization modules and Charon's detailed business practice support functions (CBEX series). - Continuous operational improvement through Power Platform utilization. - Establishment of a system to provide one-stop support for global implementation and domestic deployment by linking overseas expertise with domestic implementation capabilities.
